Returning Home
Back in Canada, I worked on a First Nations reserve in Alberta. While I enjoyed my role, my true passion, influenced by being raised by a single mother, was female empowerment.

The Best News
After years of rejections, I was finally offered my dream role with a renowned non-profit, helping female farmers in Zimbabwe through microfinance—a perfect fusion of economic development and female empowerment.

Also, the Worst News (on the same day)
On the same day, I was diagnosed with a serious autoimmune disease, forcing me to decline the opportunity. It was a heartbreaking setback in my journey.
2016
Onward and Upward
Fully recovered, I ran a remote video agency and discovered talented females from Pakistan. Realizing how well-paying remote jobs could empower them, I found a way to grow my business while making a difference.

During the pandemic, a mentor's casual chat sparked Goodwork. Leveraging remote work, we could significantly empower females globally while helping businesses thrive, turning pandemic challenges for businesses into opportunities for real change.
